Helmer Scientific

GDI constructed this 71,000 SF industrial facility for the owner, First Industrial Realty Trust, and its client, Helmer Scientific. Helmer manufactures medical grade refrigerators, freezers and blood bank storage equipment for clinics, labs, pharmacies, hospitals and universities. The building was completed in six months and features precast wall panels, an EPDM roof, 24′ clear height, an ESFR sprinkler system, truck docks and drive in doors.The facility is air conditioned and includes 23,000 SF of office. GDI delivered the project on schedule and exceeded the client’s expectations for quality.
